The Wiener Klezmer Kapelye „di libn layt“ presented their second CD „Musik aus den letzten Schtetln“ at the „Liebhartstaler Bockkeller“ in Vienna featuring Sasha Danilov as our guest star

our first „virtual concert“ dedicated to all of you who could not attend !
The venue itself could not be more appropriate. Not only has it a lot to do with traditional music and a sort of ‘Viennese‘ history, it also has hosted many concerts that were closely connected to klezmer music and to its performers.

We recorded this new programme of our second CD, work title „Musik aus den letzten Shtetln“ in July 2020!
Covid 19 and the Corona crises impacted our plans concerning concerts and performances severely:
On 17 October, 2020, we were invited to give a concert at Kulturherbst in Schliersee in Bayern whiich was canceled.
On 18 October, 2020 we planned to provide the music for a commemoration in the former camp for displaced persons in Föhrenwald with our music. The event was going to be organized by Erinnerungsort BADEHAUS – yet had to be postponed to a later point of time.
We postponed our 2. Frühlingskonzert on 21 March, 2020, at Rote Kapelle just in time – looking back, a wise decision.
We planned another concert mid May in Drosendorf – which we also had to postpone due to the Covid crisis.
